Thank you for interest in posting your career opportunity on the FLCMAA website. We currently list Management and Mid-Management positions for clubs and search firms in an effort to keep our chapter members abreast of new career opportunities. This service is offered courtesy of the Florida Chapter CMAA. In lieu of fees, we ask that the listing club or search firm will extend the fullest professional development opportunities to the successful candidate. In addition, the club or search firm may consider supporting local community charitable endeavors of the Florida Chapter Region where the club is situated.

FLCMAA Managerial Openings List The Managerial Openings List (MOL) is an online listing of clubs seeking executive management personnel. The listing assists members in securing management positions in the private club industry. The MOL lists such details as club dues, sales volumes, salary ranges, benefits and job qualifications and descriptions. All postings listed on this section have salary ranges at $60,000 or above.
FLCMAA Mid-Management Career Opportunities List The Mid-Management Career Opportunities Listing is another section of our site that lists clubs looking to hire assistant manager, dining room managers, supervisors, membership directors and various other entry to mid-level management positions. All postings listed on this section have salary ranges at $60,000 or below.
CMAA Managerial Openings List CMAA posts career opportunities from around the nation on their comprehensive ClubCareers site at www.clubcareers.org. CMAA members have complete access to the online listings with the necessary username and password. Clubs and search firms have advanced opportunities to promote their job postings with targeted mailings and email blasts as well as access to the online resume bank. Sample General Manager/COO Listing The Premier Golf Club in Orlando seeks a General Manager/COO for its 35-year-old, member-owned, non-residential club with 750 members whose average age is 58. Approximate annual income is $4.8m, of which $2.1m is dues and $1.3 million is food & beverage sales. The recently renovated 45,000 sq. ft. clubhouse includes three food & beverage outlets accommodating 50-250 people. It is complemented by two 18-hole championship golf courses plus state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor practice facilities, creating an outstanding upscale private golf club environment. CCM-status candidates should have a degree in hospitality or business management and six years experience as club manager or assistant manager of a private golf or country club. Candidates should be experienced in supervising all club departments, including clubhouse, food & beverage, golf and tennis operations, plus greens & grounds. Candidates should display strong marketing ability, outstanding leadership and communication skills, plus fiscal expertise. The position carries full operational responsibility, reports to the President, and is currently available. The club has had two distinguished General Managers in the past twelve years.
Salary is anticipated to be not less than $85,000, plus performance-based bonus and benefits including extensive CMAA package. Sample Mid-Management Listing Glendalough Country Club in Venice Beach is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager for its 15-year-old, member-owned private country club located in the 1,200-home Glendalough Estates property. The club’s 900 members have an average age of 67, and generate approximate annual income of $8 million, of which $2.1 million is food & beverage sales. The club consists of a 53,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse, two 18-hole golf courses, 14 tennis courts, plus swimming and fitness facilities.
The Food & Beverage Manager reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager and is responsible for three formal and informal clubhouse dining outlets, two bars, and pool snack bar and golf Halfway House. Candidates will be hospitality graduates who can demonstrate a progressive club industry career. Compensation includes a salary range of $40,000-$45,000 plus excellent benefit package including 401-k and CMAA package.
