Atlantis Golf Club raises over $16,000
to benefit breast cancer research

ATLANTIS, FL. FEBRUARY 9, 2010: The private, member-owned, Atlantis Golf Club Women’s Golf Association raised $16,020 to benefit Play for P.I.N.K (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge) an organization which donates much- needed funds to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. To date, the Atlantis Golf Club has donated $114,728 to the Play for P.I.N.K. organization over the past four years. This year’s committee included Jenifer Kelley, Sandy Lawrence, Joanne Driscoll, Judy Jokiel, Vicky Baker, Michelle Fashjian and Gisele Johnson. On February 9th, 110 members of Atlantis Golf Club participated in an 18-hole Golf Tournament and numerous Social Members also contributed to the cause and attended the Luncheon. The members of the Men’s golf Association also were very generous with their donations. Along with thanking the members of the Atlantis Golf Club, we want to thank the JFK Hospital Foundation and the Four Seasons of Palm Beach for their contribution. The Atlantis Golf Club Women’s Golf Association is already planning next year’s event and hopes to continue growing and contributing even more. Play for P.I.N.K was formed in 1990 and is a grassroots organization of women (and men!) playing golf, tennis and cards at clubs across the United States to raise money specifically for breast cancer research and prevention. The Atlantis Golf Club features 27 spectacular holes of championship golf with no starting time and exceptional dining and social events. The Atlantis Golf Club is comprised of a very active membership who enjoy numerous social and golf activities
