Becoming a part of the Florida Chapter of CMAA has been one of the most seamless and rewarding transitions in my professional journey. From day one, I was welcomed with genuine warmth, a spirit of inclusion, and a strong sense of community. The transition from another chapter felt less like a move and more like coming home.

Florida CMAA isn't just an organization—it's a family of professionals who are deeply committed to growing together, lifting one another up, and continuously raising the bar in our industry. The educational resources are second to none, offering not just theory but real, actionable insights that make a difference in the day-to-day life of club management.

I'm truly grateful to be part of a chapter that embodies excellence, supports its members wholeheartedly, and believes in the power of connection and mentorship. Florida CMAA has made me feel seen, supported, and inspired—and for that, I am thankful.

I joined CMAA in Fall 2023 at the recommendation of Jennifer McGurk, FGCU's RHM Internship Coordinator. After attending my first chapter event, I learned about the World Conference—and that experience changed everything. At the 2024 Conference, in which I received a merit scholarship to help cover travel expenses, I witnessed the true value of CMAA: the powerful connections, insightful education, and unmatched energy. I even secured an internship there! After years of uncertainty about my path in hospitality, CMAA helped me discover my passion for private clubs. Today, I have lifelong friends and a growing network of Club General Managers who continue to support my professional journey. I recommend the CMAA to any student who is interested in getting a head start on their career.
