Internship Resources

Internship Pathways

Many private clubs offer internship programs, each uniquely structured by individual managers to give students meaningful exposure to various aspects of club management. While internships can vary widely in format and focus, the following categories provide a helpful framework to better understand the types of opportunities available:

Club Position-Based Internship – An entry-level opportunity focused on a specific role or department within the club, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a particular area of club operations.

Rotational Internship – An entry-level internship designed to provide exposure across multiple departments, giving students a well-rounded understanding of overall club operations

Leadership Internship/ Manager in Development (MID) – Designed for students who are ready to take on greater responsibility, often involving project management or supervisory roles. These opportunities are typically suited for individuals with prior experience in club operations, previous interns, or related work experience.
