Grey Oaks Country Club Named 2009 Distinguished Club by BoardRoom Magazine

FLCMAA Wins Big at CMAA's World Conference in San Diego
More than 60 FLCMAA members attended CMAA's 83rd World Conference on Club Management in San Diego for an outstanding week of education and networking with friends and colleagues. We were pleased to be honored with the 2009 Excellence in Education award which includes a $1,000 education grant from The Club Foundation. In addition, the Florida Chapter was recognized by Boardroom Magazine as the “Chapter of the Year” and was presented with the official honor at our chapter dinner at the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center.

Atlantis Golf Club Raises More than $16,000 for breast cancer research
The private, member-owned, Atlantis Golf Club Women’s Golf Association raised $16,020 to benefit Play for P.I.N.K, (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge) an organization which donates much- needed funds to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Over the past four years, the Atlantis Golf Club has donated $114,728 to the Play for P.I.N.K. organization. Click here for the press release and pictures.
FLCMAA Clubs Unite to Aid Earthquake Victims in Haiti
Click here for details to help your club employees affected by this disaster and ways in which your club members can donate to relief efforts. To date, $493,000 has been raised by Florida Chapter clubs in addition to hundreds of pounds of clothing, food and medical supplies.
